So it’s official I will be speaking at WordCamp Sydney which is on July 21-22, 2012 at Sydney University. My topic of discussion will be centered around ways to make the default 2011 WordPress theme appear a little less ordinary. I will also be offering tips and advice on how to enhance the overall viewing and user experience of a website in general.

More about WordCamp

WordCamp is an informal gathering of WordPress users and enthusiasts who enjoy meeting other like minded users and enthusiasts!

Some of us are coders, some are bloggers, some of us are using WordPress in business, others in our studies. Some of us are building WordPress sites, some are creating plugins (WordPress add-ons), others are designing for WordPress and yet others are developing those designs into themes.

There is no one kind of WordPress user but, whether we are building our businesses on WordPress, whether we are building an audience for a WordPress blog or site, or if we want to learn how to use WordPress better it is a real thrill to get together, to talk about our shared passion for this great software and opensource in general.
